Ready to improve your fiddling, grow your repertoire, and make more musical friends? That’s what these fiddle ensembles are all about. If you already have experience on the instrument and want more opportunities to play with others and enjoy musical community, this is for you!

Current Ensembles

PDX Youth Fiddle Ensemble

This group is for kids ages 5+ with 6 months or more of playing experience. It meets twice a month in North Portland from 4-5 pm on Mondays, plus for scheduled performances.

Every ensemble participant receives:

Bi-weekly group fiddle instruction
A songbook with notation and chord charts
Listening reference tracks for learning by ear
Guitar practice tracks
Learning videos of each tune played slowly
Performance and jamming opportunities
